Learn to Earn Year 9 Students

Learn to Earn

Yr 9 Students took part in the Business Young Enterprise ‘Learn to Earn’ Programme during their summer timetable in June.

Learn to Earn is designed to give 13-15 year old students an activity-based introduction to the relationship between learning and the attainment of personal goals. The programme aims to support and guide students in exploring the concepts of success, independence and employment and in understanding the relevance of learning and education to their working future.
Young Enterprise invited various entrepreneurs and industry personnel to both days, to support and advise the students through their tasks and workshops. These included: CMC Recruitment, Career Academy, Voyager Solutions and IBB Law.

Additionally, Gumley School invited Mareike Leonhardt, from CHP Consulting Ltd, an organisation that has been supporting Gumley through a range of initiatives over the last year.
